How does baccarat work?
Baccarat works by dealing two hands, Player and Banker. You bet on which hand will finish closest to nine, or on a tie. In Punto Banco, fixed rules determine whether extra cards are dealt. Tens and face cards count as zero, aces as one, and only the last digit of each hand’s total counts.
How are baccarat card totals calculated?
Aces count as one; cards from two to nine count at face value. Tens and picture cards count as zero. Only the final digit of a total matters. A seven and an eight therefore total five, because 15 becomes five. A nine and a king total nine.

What changes in no-commission baccarat?
A no-commission table usually changes some other payment or settlement rule. For example, a specified Banker outcome may pay a reduced amount. Read the exception before comparing tables. A prominent “no commission” label is incomplete without its corresponding conditions.
